能登檜木產自日本石川縣，是石川縣的縣木，在能登地區自古便被稱為「Ate（アテ）」。其木質細緻、紋理優雅，散發溫潤自然的木香，是日本極具代表性的珍貴銘木之一。

能登檜屬於柏科扁柏屬植物，自古便被認為具有殺菌、除臭及防腐等特性，因此廣泛運用於神社寺院、建築木材、地板與高級木製品。除了優美的木紋外，亦具有耐衝擊、不易受損的特性，兼具美觀與實用價值。

約1300年前，能登地區曾被稱為「能登國」，當地保存許多繩文時代遺址，見證著人們與森林共存的悠久歷史。每一顆能登檜木珠皆保留天然木紋與色澤，蘊藏著日本森林歲月孕育而成的溫潤氣息。
 

Noto Hiba is a precious timber native to Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, where it has long been known locally as "Ate." Recognized as the prefectural tree, it is admired for its beautiful grain, warm natural fragrance, and exceptional durability.

Belonging to the cypress family, Noto Hiba has traditionally been valued for its natural antibacterial, deodorizing, and decay-resistant properties. It has been widely used in temples, shrines, architectural structures, flooring, and fine woodworking throughout Japan.

With a history deeply rooted in the ancient land once known as Noto Province, this remarkable wood reflects centuries of Japanese craftsmanship and harmony with nature.
