Taiwanese creative team “Xiao Creative” has used design to transform the traditional money-drawing toad into “Jiu Ji,” ensuring that traditional culture continues into the new era with a stylish, modern design. The team drew upon traditional Taiwanese tin craftsmanship, utilizing centrifugal casting to shape the “Jiu Ji.” Crafted from a tin alloy, the process requires precise soldering, repeated refinement, grinding, and meticulous polishing, followed by electroplating. Every step is meticulously handled by experienced casting masters to achieve a three-dimensional mirror-like finish.

Tin = Gold + Ease. “Jiu Ji” is cast from a tin alloy using centrifugal casting. The Chinese character for “tin” (錫) is composed of “gold” (金) and ‘ease’ (易), symbolizing “easy money”!
