A volcanic rock produced in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture, characterized by its elegant yet rustic blue-gray color.
Like the famous “Himekawa Medicinal Stone,” it emits natural radiation that is gentle on the human body. Compared to Himekawa Medicinal Stone, Qinghai Medicinal Stone has lower water retention, making it less prone to staining and discoloration.
Its composition is very similar to that of Himekawa Medicinal Stone, but radiation tests have shown slightly higher readings, leading to the belief that it offers even greater potential for the “hormesis effect” (low-dose stimulation effect). It is said that using it in combination with Himekawa Medicinal Stone produces a synergistic effect where the two complement each other.
