🛡️ Natural Protective Properties and Practicality
Powerful Natural Protection:
Noto Hinoki is rich in natural compounds such as “hinokitiol,” which are said to have excellent antibacterial, deodorizing, preservative, and insect-repellent (ant-repellent) effects, making it a natural protective agent.

Beauty and Resilience Coexist:
Its wood grain is exceptionally beautiful, making it a popular choice for high-end flooring, wainscoting, and other interior decor. Additionally, it is highly resistant to impact and scratches, demonstrating outstanding structural strength.

Symbolic Meaning:
Immortality (不死): Thanks to its exceptional preservative and rot-resistant properties, it resists decay even after enduring the elements, symbolizing “enduring longevity” and “eternal vitality.”
Steadfast Friendship (固い友情): Just like its dense, impact-resistant, and resilient wood, it symbolizes the deep, unshakable bond of friendship and unity among people.
Future (未来): The Japanese scientific name for the Asunaro, “Asunaro,” literally conveys the aspiration that “tomorrow (あす) it will become (なろう) a towering cypress tree.” As such, it is imbued with the positive energy of “hope,” “growth,” and “pioneering the future.”
